First floor of a Villa, ground floor is used by the owners for the daily maintenance only. The garden, provided with awning, barbecue, tennis table, and swimming pool, is used only by the guest . The property is surrounded by a fence. The entrance is protected by a gate: car can be parked inside. The area is extremely safe and local people are in general very friendly and helpful. The road to the gate is a dirtroad for 0.6 Miles , with a rather steep unasphalted slope for a short piece. The area has a unique vie and it's quiet. Only 10 min away by car you'll be in the center of a beautiful, ancian turistic town

La casa è molto pulita e funzionale. Bella piscina. Bellissimo panorama. Paolo e Caterina sono stati sempre presenti e disponibili. Unica nota: la strada sterrata è abbastanza ripida e non è corta. Quindi niente di sconvolgente, in auto si fa anche in 4 con i bagagli, ma non è per tutti. La vista da sopra vale tutta la strada, comunque.
It was a great pleasure to stay at Paolo's 'eaglesnest'. Stunning location on the hill side overlooking the valley. Totally private. Nice pool. Simple and convenient house. Paolo and his family are extremely kind and helpful. You can see the love they have for their house and for making it comfortable for their guests. Tip for future guests: bring so groceries for the first 1-2 days before you drive up the hill.
Het is een leuke locatie op een prachtige plek met privézwembad bovenop een berg met prachtig uitzicht over Gubbio en de vallei. De locatie was van veel gemakken voorzien incl. wasmachine maar (helaas) geen afwasmachine en een vrij kleine keuken. Ook was het jammer dat er veel wespen bij het zwembad waren waardoor je na het middaguur op heel zonnige dagen eigenlijk niet in het zwembad kon. De eigenaar heeft dat adequaat opgelost door een verdelgingsmiddel te laten spuiten maar door een paar regenbuien was dat effect helaas snel weg. Maar qua prachtige ligging en locatie zeker een aanrader! De weg ernaar toe is de eerste keer spannend qua stijgingspercentage maar valt uiteindelijk mee. Paolo neemt op de weg omhoog bagage van je over (als je zwaar beladen bent) zodat je gemakkelijk boven komt. Hij reageert zeer snel bij vragen en is zeer behulpzaam.
Uns hat alles sehr gefallen!!! Die Aussicht und das Haus sind wunderschön. Der Pool ist auch sehr schön und groß genug mit dem Zaum drumherum damit man nicht die ganze Zeit auf Kinder aufpassen muss. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen!!!

Gubbio
Gubbio (ITALY), town (1991 pop. 30,792), in Umbria, central Italy. It is an agricultural and tourist center and has long been known for its ceramics. Originally an Umbrian town (coins and the Iguvine Tables were found there), it later flourished under the Romans. Gubbio was a powerful free commune in the 11th–12th cent., came under the dukes of Urbino in 1384, and was held by the papacy from 1624 to 1860. A local school of painting (14th–15th cent.) included Guido Palmerucci and Ottaviano Nelli. The town retains a medieval character. Notable structures include the Gothic Palazzo dei Consoli (14th–15th cent.), the Palazzo Ducale (begun 1476), and a well-preserved Roman theater (1st cent. B.C.).
