we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent here. Jo made us feel very welcome and explained everything to us on arrival. House was spotless and kids loved the goodies left. If you are looking for a quiet retreat in evenings after taking in what the area has to offer this cottage is perfect. little fire very cosy and ample space for a family of 4 and 2 cocker spaniels who loved the garden. maghera inn just down the road is lovely as well even for a quiet pint in the evenings.

An absolutely beautiful area. Gorgeous restaurant/pub within walking distance. 24 hours prior to stay we were asked for a £150 security deposit which hadn’t been previously mentioned which we were unable to pay through the AirB&B app - only cash or Revolut. The house served a purpose but was very dusty and covered in cobwebs. It took over 4 hours for the hot tub to heat but once heated brilliant - very slippy grounds due to green algae and no lighting at hot tub area. One guest had slipped and hurt themselves. At 11pm all the electricity in the house went out - thankfully host was easily reached and soon got the issue resolved within 30 mins or so. This is a very old cottage so condensation on the windows, mould on walls and very cold but plenty of extra blankets provided. The company was good so we still had fun but wouldn’t stay again. Lovely host! Treats left which was a nice touch.

Cottage in an excellent location. I booked it for the hot tub & unfortunately, like some guests, experienced problems. I paid £50 to use it and was only advised 30 mins before arrival I would have to fill the hot tub myself & then heat it too. I filled it immediately. We had booked a restaurant & hot tub was still not hot enough to use by the time went out. It was lukewarm the next morning. My partner who tried it could not stay in it. It was too cold for me to try. Initially Jo promised a refund of £50 but 3 days later she said she was no longer giving me a refund (as she had to clean the hot tub because my partner tried it). She accused me of not informing her I was bringing a dog, implying I had avoided an extra cost of £30 additional cleaning. When I made my booking, I selected 1 pet. Guests should be aware the cost of hot tub is £50 for use on 1 day & not per stay. The location was great, but I would not stay again given the issues I had and how they were dealt with by the host

we had a brilliant night away. the house was lovely and had a few wee goodies for us when we arrived. even down to the fresh daffodils on the table .

Nice location,hot tub a definite bonus ,only downside needed to go and buy more wood but definitely would go back
