Beautiful location to spend a weekend away. We were lucky to have great weather and enjoyed the tranquil surroundings with the hot tub, hammock, and fire pit. Ben and Amanda were excellent hosts, and had even prepared the hot tub fire and fire pit so we could just light it when we were ready.
This was our third stay at the shepherd's hut, everything was perfect, as usual!
An excellent getaway from London for a couple nights. We really enjoyed using the hot tub and exploring the surrounding areas. There is a lovely walk to the local pub. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we want a little getaway from London. Ben was very helpful with local recommendations and was very helpful thought out stay!
From start to finish, we loved every minute of our stay here. From the meet and great, to the easy check out, everything was so easy. Ben made sure everything was OK and quickly responded to any questions. The hut was perfect, cozy and tranquil. After a day out walking, the hot tub was so relaxing under the night sky, with the sounds of the Nightingale and an Owl right by us. we didn't want to leave! Thank you!

Father of three feisty girls, I love walking, cooking and gardening. I also love mountain biking on the South Downs and fly fishing (when I can). Having lived in London for many years, we made the move to East Sussex in 2007 and love this part of the country. There is so much to see and do right on the doorstep.
