The place is actually on the other side of the island, not on the main town so we had to cross the island and travel to get there. Thankfully, Azairi offered his service for a price to pick us up. We didn’t get to stay at this specific room because they gave us a different one at first but it was good too because I needed to work and the wifi was reaching better there than this room when I tested. Though sometimes I still had to get out to get better signal especially when I have a call/meeting. The place was also private, we had our own bathroom and the spaces between the other rooms were enough to provide us some quietness. There were some bugs and mosquitoes but this is an island so that’s expected. Thankfully we were prepared for that. Also, they allow you to borrow their bikes so you could get to the area with restaurants and stores so that’s a plus. If you’re looking for a peaceful vacation, it would be good to book this place.

We had a very lovely stay ! The chalets are nice and comfy and the beach is very beautiful ! The staff is super nice and welcoming, they helped us with everything we needed, always with a smile. We stayed more night than we were planning to, and would definitely come back. Thank you very much !

Azairi is an exceptional host. His family and him welcomed us to their resort. We initially booked one night and then extended our stay for two more nights. Azairi arranged for a 4x4 ride for us from Tekek Jetty. Ude was a great driver, took care when riding through the steep jungle roads. It was about a 30min ride from the Jetty. We really enjoyed our rides with Ude. Tamara resort is at the start of the second stretch of Juara Beach with access directly to beach (less than a minute walk). When you walk to beach from Tamara resort there is a stretch of the ocean to left right in from of Tamara with coral reefs. We saw a blacktip reef shark, cuttlefishes, sting ray and plenty ocean fishes snorkeling. And if you are lucky you may bump into turtles on early morning swims. Azairi also arranged a day trip out for us. The resort has their own speed boat. We went to three snorkel spots on the other side of Tioman. What an amazing experience! Thank you Azairi for being so patient with us and letting us enjoy the ocean. The day ended with Ude taking us to one of the waterfalls in Juara jungle. We absolutely loved the crisp water after a whole day of snorkeling. The rooms are exactly as per the pictures shown, but so much more to the resort that is not shown. We were so pleasantly surprised. Many restaurants on the juara stretch. Thank you again for accommodating our last minute booking during the Hari Raya festive season.
