I picked this place because it was 4 minutes from my guitar course, but I couldn't have made a better choice. The accommodation is beautiful inside and out and Claire has literally thought of everything. There's a very comprehensive, hand written book explaining every aspect of your stay along with a comprehensive list of local pubs, restaurants, shops, doctors etc . It's like a Tardis, for such a small building, it never feels cramped inside, as they've designed a beautiful space with a well thought out layout. The pub opposite does the best pub food I've had in a good 10 years, and I travel all over the country with work so that's saying something, but I would advise to book ahead. I will definitely be staying again when I come down for my next guitar course. Thanks so much Claire and John.

An exceptional Airbnb experience! This accommodation is a true gem. Clean, cozy, and well-located, it provides everything you need for a perfect stay. Claire was very warm and available. I highly recommend it for an unforgettable trip!

We had the most incredible stay with Claire, I honestly cannot recommend highly enough! Claire was just the most perfect host in every way, super super responsive, would reply to my messages within minutes, absolutely lovely to communicate with, super friendly, helpful and just generally lovely! The place itself was just perfect, we felt right at home, Claire has clearly put a LOT of effort in to make such a lovely place to stay! With lots of thoughtful touches that made us feel so welcomed! We will absolutely be staying again! Can’t thank you enough Claire, you are a real gem🥰❤️

Thank you too Claire and John for being great hosts once again. This is the 2nd time me and my partner have stayed at The Yorkshireman, and we definitely plan to make it a yearly visit. Fully recommend the local pub The Thimble Inn also. Only a minute walk away its a beautiful quiet pub with great food and drinks.
