6 of us had a lovely stay in the 3 bedroom/3 en-suite bathrooms lodge at Brewery Farm. It was in a beautiful, peaceful location with uninterrupted views of the rolling Dorset countryside. There are many walks from the farm & near to the coast & several attractions. The Fox Inn across the road serves excellent meals & is open every day. There is a shop on the farm. The only negative we found was limited storage space in the bedrooms but we all coped. We will definitely stay at Brewery Farm again if we are in the area. Ann & Nick Foster.

Melbury Lodge was so a great venue for a week of relaxing with a very cosy atmosphere due to the log burner and with picturesque scenery of the farms surrounding fields. Very private and welcoming. Six of us stayed and there was plenty of living space. The Fox Inn pub over the road was literally 2 mins walk and had a nice friendly vibe with some lovely local ales and ciders plus a great menu. We would love to visit again that’s for sure. Great host and very helpful.

An excellent well presented, cosy and comfortable lodge. easy check in with spot on directions to the accomodation. no complaints at all from any of our party about anything at the accomodation. the Christmas tree was also an unexpected but lovely touch. would definitely return and recommend.

Lovely touch to arrive with handwritten note from Carol, chocolates and real Christmas tree in cabin. Rooms smaller than expected and all very close to each other with thin walls. Beds weren’t king size. Hot tub was quite gritty underfoot with little stones when first got in but we still very much enjoyed it. Neighbouring cabins as quite close but well located so you don’t feel disturbed by them and it is still quite a private experience. Has everything you need for a weekend/week away. Farm shop has all the essentials you might need if forgotten/run out of. Local pub walking distance was ok. Don’t think the space would’ve been enough for 3 couples and/or if you brought babies too.
