We had a wonderful stay at Andrew’s cottage. He was very welcoming, providing recommendations in advance and a very generous welcome basket of milk, cereal and bread. The cottage is delightful, tastefully decorated and well equipped. The village is quiet and peaceful yet well connected to surrounding areas. Highly recommended!

Andrew is a wonderful host. The lodge is perfectly situated in a beautiful quiet village. We threw open the bedroom doors in the morning and listened to the birds (and no noise of traffic). The interiors are stunning and everything you we could have wanted at hand - the welcome basket was so generous and thoughtful - even Easter eggs! Roaring fire, games and films after long walks perfect for much needed family time. Before falling into the most sumptuous bed linen for a restful sleep. Repeat.

We really loved staying at Stable Lodge. Nestled in the side of the hill, we felt really cosy. The weather was not so good but that didn't matter as it was such a pleasure staying in. The attention to detail in the lodge was incredible and we felt very lucky to have found somewhere as nice.
