I searched AirBnB hoping to discover a quiet, quaint and quirky last-minute long weekend getaway in Apr-24 as a surprise 21st birthday treat for my daughter (and the dog) and St Margaret's surpassed all expectations. This lovely C12th church has been transformed into a simply wonderful holiday home - with great attention to detail in providing all the essentials and mod-cons such as warmth (lovely heated floors!), an amazing fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, a delightful en-suite master bathroom and no shortage of hot water for the power showers - whilst retaining all of its original features, character, charm and with an obvious respect for St Marg's long history and those who had contributed to that. Must say I thought the internal heating & lighting design was truly impressive, the Wi-Fi was great and the Bluetooth speakers up in the ceiling worked a treat coupled with the building's natural acoustics. wlWow what a fantastic experience. Just what we hoped for. The church was beautiful, historic, full of character, spooky, friendly..and everything else. The family loved it and we had a fun time pretending to take sermons and walk up the aisle. Lovely surroundings and walks with the dog. Warm and cozy with excellent facilities. Will be back again in the future.

The 12th centurie St Margaret’s Church was an excellent and outstanding place hoing beyond what i expected even after seeing the picture the landscape around the building was amazing and the inside is something eles may expect it yo be cold and just a normal church but far from it with all the hard work that has been out in to bring this place to a more modern home and look while keeping the architectural visual and atmosphere is outstanding and definitely a one to look at the heated floors were amazing and Katherine herself was a outstandingly amazing host alwasy on call and happy to help and also give recommendation on where to eat will be definitely giveing a few of her other places a check out

We spent a wonderful 3 nights in Katherine's church for our anniversary. It's in a very quiet location, a 1.5 mile walk into Louth along the canal where there are plenty of places to eat & drink. The church is exactly like the pictures, a luxurious & interesting property. We particularly loved the massive bath. The speakers in the rafters were amazing for playing music. Katherine kindly left us some local treats which were greatly appreciated.
