My family and I had such an amazing long weekend stay, which was booked last minute due to being let down by a previous property earlier in the week. The hosts were really responsive and accommodating with our every need and provided lots of historical information about the cottage and the mill. Natalie also accommodated a later checkout time, which we were so very grateful for. It is such a great base for seeing the sights of the surrounding area, you can get to the beach in just under 20 minutes and there are some lovely walks right from the front door. The hot tub was immaculate and the views of the river from the cottage windows is just stunning. It was such a peaceful break, we would not hesitate to return.

We had a perfect weekend away at the retreat. Natalie and her partner was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and the property was very nice and peaceful. We would definitely go back, the location was perfect for a nice relaxed time away, and is only a short drive to the coast. 5 stars from us, thanks again for a perfect break :)

Our stay at Mill Retreat went above and beyond expectations. Natalie made us feel very welcome and was very flexible with our request for a later check out. The information provided covered absolutely everything! The cottage is simply stunning, completed to such a high standard and every little detail has been thought about. The hot tub is immaculately clean and just complete luxury! Highly recommended if you're looking for relaxation, fresh air and gorgeous surroundings. We will definitely be returning! Thank you so much to Natalie & family!

We wanted a peaceful relaxing break to recharge and that’s exactly what we got. Beautiful accommodation in a fantastic location. A short walk along a tranquil river to a lovely pub was a bonus. Natalie was so lovely & helpful and a wonderful host who made us feel relaxed as soon as we arrived. Would completely recommend a stay

Really beautiful cottage, lots to explore around. Natalie was a great host and really accommodating. Was kind to leave out balloons, card and chocolates for my son's birthday. Would definitely recommend visiting.
