Good location for a remote cabin getaway and to enjoy some time away from everything. Cell service gets really spotty and there is no sign on the driveway entrance so go slow and just turn based on what the last gps map looked like. Once you arrive in a beautiful valley with lots of cows and a donkey you’ll know you’re there! Inside the giant stone gas fireplace is amazing for cold mornings and nights and the entire family can lounge in comfort around it. Big dining table, wrap around deck and remote bliss make this a great place. It’s a good idea to check with the host for anything you made need if you plan to cook as kitchen cookware is just the basics. Make sure to bring your own toiletries including hand soap and body wash or a bar of soap as little is provided but who needs to shower when you’re this far from anyone? Many good hikes nearby and hosts can help with recommendations so check with them!

Kayla was incredibly kind and accommodating with the cabin and made for a wonderful time for our family retreat during the eclipse! We felt so thankful for the spacious cabin to host our larger group and wonderful green fields to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. We also enjoyed hiking at Sam’s throne! Thank you Kayla and team!

Incredible place. Very special. Even on one of the coldest days of the year. Gorgeous and serene. Kayla was super helpful as our flights got canceled, and she accommodated our unexpected changes. What a place!!!

Great place with lots of space in a peaceful setting. The location is perfect for visiting all the local attractions. We really enjoyed our time here.
