这是一个温馨、美丽、充满爱的家，是我迄今为止住过的最好的民宿，我会推荐它给我所有的朋友。整栋房子和花园就是一件艺术品，设计、装修和装饰关注到房子的每一处细节，实用、体贴又极具美感。房东Simon和Stuart友善温暖充满爱，我们进入房间的时候，暖气已经提前打开，房间很温暖。桌上有鲜花和房东手写的欢迎贺卡，还特别为我们准备了蛋糕、面包和红酒。Simon and Stuart是最友爱的房东。我们还会再来。

A lovely village home in a quiet village. We were welcomed with all manner of goodies, including wine, cakes and cheese. We were particularly appreciative of the logs, both ready in the log basket (the fire was laid) and in the log store outside. There was even an emergency food cupboard which was really thoughtful. The house was very well-furnished; it was like a home rather than an average rental, and included almost everything which one would need, with of course, plenty of suggestions on where to go and lots of maps. We used the walking maps several times as the area has a number of peaceful circular walks along quiet lanes and tracks. We were lucky enough to use the balcony once or twice; February isn't the best month for weather but that and the enclosed garden must be beautiful in Summer. Although a town house, one wouldn't know that there were neighbours. Excitement was provided by driving the car through the rather narrow gateway!

From the moment we entered we were immediately impressed by the homely yet glamorous ambience of this beautiful home. Fresh flowers on the kitchen table along with a welcoming bottle of red wine like we were personal guests of Simon's. There was also a comprehensive handbook provided which was invaluable. Every possible amenity was provided, even an Alexa to entertain us. Every inch of the property was like something from Homes and Gardens magazine including a beautiful seating area on the landing with a bookshelf full of best sellers. The bedroom to the rear of the property has a lovely sunny balcony overlooking the garden and the ruins of the abbey beyond. Absolutely superb.

We had a really lovely stay. The house was charmingly decorated with lots of pleasant touches. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of welcoming goodies. We would definitely recommend Simon as a host and his great home.
