The place had all the comforts of home, and was very simple inside. That was helpful with our toddler running around. The fire pit was well built and we had a great time underneath and market lights on the patio. The view from the patio is top-notch, and the place was very relaxing and peaceful.

Having gone to Yuma to do some sxs riding Chris and Naomi’s place was perfect. You can ride right out of the Rv park into the chocolate mountains. That said unless you are at Gold Rock Ranch RV park for a certain purpose (quiet, riding) there is not much going on in the area. The store/office was not open the whole time we were there. It was perfect for us but you are not close to restaurant, food or gas. RV park is tidy and beautifully maintained. The house was super clean, not totally renovated (bathroom and bedroom seem like they are next to get a makeover) but impeccably clean. We enjoyed the yard immensely. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog, and we had a beautiful fire and tried out the hammock which was like new. The star link wifi was welcome along with Netflix and YouTube in the TV. Many little touches left for guests including some coffee (keurig); spare charger; speaker; water and pop tarts :) We enjoyed our stay and would recommend as a riding base!

If you are looking for a fabulous, peaceful location in Arizona this is it. Known as the sunniest city in the country. The weather was perfect in January. The desert views, the sunrises and sunsets over the foothills were amazing. Hosts brought firewood for the outdoor fire pit. Since Naomi and Chris put in the new wifi, connection was excellent if you want it but you might not. The southwest decor and accents are superb. Perfect if you’re travelling with your pets. I will be back if they’ll have me. Check it out. You won’t regret it. Tiffany from Toronto Canada

We really enjoyed having a soft place to land for a Goldrock NYE- Goldrock is always an adventure! The yard was awesome, although we didn't use it at the bnb we really appreciated the firewood. The chairs and swing were a nice touch and I loved relaxing on the hammock. It was nice to have a full kitchen to cook a meal for our friends in and a hot shower! The linens and the comforter on the primary bed were very plush and cozy. I love the art and the agate in the living room highlighting the Goldrock history. I would stay here again for sure but I wouldn't pay as much as I did again on a non-holiday weekend. Overall a great experience!

The house was very cute and clean when I got there. The yard is an oasis in the desert. Inside is cute and you can tell they put a lot of time and effort into the house. The main bedroom was the only room not renovated but still functional. The fire pit got used a few times but was already full when I got there. The hammock is an amazing touch. You can enjoy outside in the shade and listen to the many birds that live out there. The community is a bit of a concern. People are fairly friendly but you hardly see anyone. Some of the residents make the area seem sketchy but I never had an issue. If you don’t have an ORV/SXS there is nothing for you to do in the community. There is one place to hike across the street (2 miles to the main road from the house) but be prepared to go over very rough terrain to get there. If you are very private this is the place for you. If you are trying to be close to anything or work in Yuma it is a drive.
