African Leaves Trout Lodge is regarded as an excellent fly-fishing location, is a part of the ‘Zuikerboschhoek Bewarea’ and is home to wildlife that frequents the mountain range. There is a natural waterfall and 2 km’s of natural river running through the forest on the property. There are two houses situated on the property - Oak House and Silo Lodge. We are pet friendly for up to 4 small to medium sized breed dogs, which must be well trained. With three en suite bedrooms, one with an open-air shower, Silo Lodge can accommodate six guests. The spacious lounge with sociable “ Hemel en Aarde ” bar, shares an open fireplace with the adjacent dining room and kitchen. The living area opens onto a verandah with well equipped built-in braai, overlooking a trout dam and impressive mountain range.
