High deposit and extra charges! This review is not for the house but for the managing company. Note that the host is a company and not an individual and that they are not following the Airbnb standards. Some surprises that you will find out after paying: 1. You need to pick up the keys from the company’s office 2. They will request a deposit. I was asked for 4,000 Euro deposit and had to negotiate it down to 1,000 Euro as I was not expecting it. 3. Although you are paying an enormous amount for cleaning (we paid 250 Euro), they still expect you to clean the house before you leave. 4. They ask you to send them pictures within two days for any fault you find. If you didn’t find it, you will pay for it! Basically, although the house was great with an amazing pool and in perfect location, Eurocéan managed to leave us with a bitter taste sending us pictures of the kitchen or floor that was not washed and even a picture of the kids’ toilet that unfortunately wasn’t too clean. I was very disappointed as the charges for cleaning should have covered it. We were also asked to pay for a missing handle in one of the showers that we have probably missed when checking in. The company now want to charge me extra for taking the rubbish bins out and cleaning the BBQ but they are not communicating what the charges would be.
