Welcome to Acorn Lodge & Bungalow! This listing is for two homes on one property, rented together. The location is perfect for winter skiing, sledding, and snowboarding. In the fall, hike below the beautiful foliage, and in the spring/summer be sure to check out the nearby swimming holes, more hiking, antiquing, and local farms & vineyards. Enjoy your morning coffee gazing out of the large picture windows or an afternoon cocktail al fresco on our patio. The two houses on a single property are a great choice for your Catskill getaway, ski weekend, holiday gathering, friends/family reunion, fall foliage trip, and summer vacation. Each house has its own Living Room area. Lounge on the sofas, switch on the Smart TV for movie night or the big game, or enjoy one of our board games with your group. The living room is adjacent to the kitchen and dining room and has large windows that allow the beautiful morning and afternoon light to shine in. Sleeping Arrangements Acorn Lodge has 4 bedrooms and can sleep 8 guests. With 3 Queen Sized Bedrooms on the ground floor and 1 King Sized bedroom with ensuite bathroom upstairs, you will find room for your entire group to spread out. Our bedrooms feature Casper Mattresses, quality linens, and are thoughtfully decorated. Each bedroom has either a closet or a dresser for unpacking your personal items, and its own climate control so that guests can adjust to their individual preference. Acorn Bunglaow has 3 bedrooms and can sleep 6 guests. With 1 King Sized Bedroom, 1 Queen Sized bedroom, and 1 bedroom with a Bunk Bed you will find room for your entire group to spread out. Our bedrooms feature Casper Mattresses, quality linens, and are thoughtfully decorated. Each bedroom has either a closet or a dresser for unpacking your personal items, and its own climate control so that guests can adjust to their individual preference. The Kitchen Both Kitchens are equipped with all new appliances and finishes as well as cooking utensils, pots and pans, general spices, and basically all the tools you need to make morning pancakes, spaghetti bolognese dinner, and everything in between. (Groceries not provided.) For morning coffee, there is a coffee machine in each, please feel free to bring along your favorite roast. You will find all the dish ware, serve ware, and drink ware you need for your group to dine, but don’t worry, we have you covered with a dishwasher too. Bathrooms There are two bathrooms in Acorn Lodge. The downstairs bathroom has a double sink area separated from the toilet & shower with a pocket door (so more people can use the different areas at the same time). The second bathroom is located upstairs, nested within the Master Bedroom and also features a soaking tub for your relaxation. Both bathrooms have a rain shower head and body sprayer and are stocked with toiletries, a hair dryer, and super plush towels. Also in-unit is a washer and dryer for your use. There are two bathrooms in Acorn Bungalow - one accessible just outside the Queen & Bunk bed bedrooms and the other nested within the Master Bedroom (and also has a soaking tub for your relaxation). Both bathrooms have a rain shower head and body sprayer and are stocked with toiletries, a hair dryer, and super plush towels. Also in-unit is a washer and dryer for your use. Outdoors Step outside of each house and you will find a wood deck with lounge seating for your entire group. If BBQ-ing is your thing, we have you covered with a propane grill. An extra tank is provided in case the one there runs low and needs to be swapped out. Both houses have their own firepit and twinkle lights. We provide you with a fire starter kit and good amount of wood for multiple nights of fires. There is a fence that divides the two houses for visual privacy for when the homes are booked by separate guests, but we left it open on either side so that guests renting both homes together can still go back and forth between yards.
