Lots of space on main floor with open kitchen and family room. Very comfortable bedrooms and both bathrooms had everything we needed. We could see the river from the porch, lots of woods and areas to walk. Only a 5 -10 minute drive to Alex Bay

Tucked away down a quiet riverside road, this quaint cottage offers guests a welcoming stay. The entrance is located on the ground floor and opens into the walkout basement filled with musty relics and a vintage bar. Upstairs, the home has an updated feel and is equipped with everything you will need for your stay. The air conditioning units are effective and the wifi worked great. The biggest downside of this location is that the water comes from a local well which is heavily saturated with sulphur. Everything from flushing the toilet to showering or doing laundry comes at the cost of an intrusive rotten egg odour. The host does a great job providing some larger jugs of drinking water, however, we did purchase our own bottles.
