Second time staying at Captain’s Cottage and still love this place. Great location, very clean and has great amenities. Also a plus that we can bring our pup and they can too feel right at home. Anytime we go back to Santa Barbara we will for sure be back to this place.

Shelby’s place has everything we needed, and more. As comfortable as home, private and quiet, and close to the beach/ happenings of Santa Barbara. Highly recommend!
We booked the Captain’s Cottage for our elopement weekend while we got married at the Santa Barbara courthouse. It was absolutely perfect. The home and grounds were stunning and better than pictured. Centrally located, It was romantic but also gave us space to get ready for our big day. The home is small but very smartly designed and never felt crowded. It was clean with a comfortable bed and high end appliances. Shelby was easy to communicate with, we can’t say enough good things. We loved our stay and would absolutely recommend or return.
If you’re looking for a beautiful home in the heart of a serene coastal community, look no further. This cottage is the epitome of pristine coastal living, w/contemporary yet comfortable furnishings. As a family of 3 adults/2 pups, we felt the space was warm, welcoming, & tasteful. The surrounding community &ocean views are unparalleled. We could not get enough of the beautiful morning walks. The home is supplied with more than enough high quality amenities, & the entire kitchen is thoughtfully curated. It was so beautiful that we decided to prep for our wedding & have our first look at the cottage, which made for memories we will forever cherish. The back lounge was perfect for the dogs & men to hang out in while my bridal team helped prep. The home itself is situated in a tranquil neighborhood; we especially loved the peaceful mornings. We were close to an intimate tapas bar, 10 mins from the lively state st & famous courthouse. I personally appreciate Kristie and Shelby’s kindness 💐
