I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lakeshore Oasis. Ruth is an amazing host, ensuring every detail was perfect for our stay. The cottage itself was a true oasis, with stunning views of the lake, cozy interiors, and all the amenities one could ask for. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the serene atmosphere and thoughtful touches throughout the space. Our time at Lakeshore Oasis was nothing short of magical, and I cannot wait to return for another unforgettable getaway. Thank you, Ruth, for sharing your slice of paradise with us!

Ruth is very friendly. She describes everything in details. The cottage was so cozy, it's by the lake with a great view of water. If you want to chill for a weekend this place is an ideal option to have some fun.

Ruth's place was excellent, 5 stars. I'd like to point out some accessibility features for anyone looking for an accessible getaway. 4 people who exclusively use wheelchairs stayed at Ruth's place, with their 4 companions. The house (excluding cozy cabin) is wheelchair accessible for all entrances. The pictures adequately indicate the less accessible areas: the shower has a very high lip that is too high for a commode or wheelchair tilt to enter. The bathroom with a tub is not wheelchair accessible as it is very narrow. And the bedrooms have a lot of furniture that makes full chair pivots and hoyer lifts difficult. This is just to keep in mind, we certainly made it work and had a blast. Ruth kindly thought of our needs and removed kitchen chairs and, upon booking, messaged with accessibility details to make sure we'd be safe and have full awareness. The place would be perfect for those who can self transfer but absolutely manageable for our needs as well. Thanks Ruth!

We had a great family getaway at Ruth’s place this Thanksgiving. There was ample space for everyone and everything we needed in the kitchen and outdoors. While we didn’t have an opportunity to use the paddle boats or canoes it was great that they were available. We were able to enjoy the wonderful hot tub and make s’mores over the fire pit. Would definitely recommend.

My spouse and I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Lakeshore Oasis. From the moment we drove in the driveway we could see the beauty of the grounds of the property and the lake. The home was very clean with all household amenities present. The entire property is flat and level which makes it an excellent choice for those with any mobility issues. A lovely gift with card and flowers was left for us from the owner. We thoroughly enjoyed our four days and highly recommend this property for a peaceful relaxing stay. Ruth was marvellous in her communication with us and very thorough. Look forward to staying again in the future.
