Kathy's place is beautiful and very peaceful. our 3 year old and 18 month old loved the beach and playing in the water. At night it was great to hot tub, have campfires and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. it's a very quiet lake but the water is free of weeds and lovely to swim in. Kathy also has everything you would need. we didn't bring any toys, dishware, etc it was all there. We didn't end up using the "game room" in the garage but it's a great addition.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. Has a nice yard to play games, a nice beach for the children to play and the children can fish from the dock.

Highly recommend Kathy's place for your family vacation. We just spent a week there and everything was great. The property is quite large with a great view of the lake, and the sandy beach with shallow walk in was awesome for our kids (6 and 2 year olds). The extras were really nice to have as Kathy has a paddleboard, pedal boat, canoe, and kayaks available to use. She also has a bunch of sand toys so no need to bring your own. There are also many outdoor yard games available (croquet, bocce, checkers, ladder ball etc.) as well as indoor games and movies for the rainy days. The cottage was clean and well equipped, and Kathy was a great host. We really had a great time and had no complaints. As others have said, the last 5 minutes or so of the road is pretty rough and steep, so you have to be prepared for that, but well worth it once you are there. Would definitely stay again 🙂

Kathy’s place is absolutely lovely. Perfect for our young family. It was clean and lots of things to do for the kids. Beautiful kitchen to cook in. We can’t wait to return next year for our annual cottage trip! Great place to sit back and relax or do yoga on the dock.

Very secluded property, Kathy’s place is amazing! This cottage is very well equipped and perfect for families. Very responsive host, we were very well taken care of while staying at here. The baked treats upon arrival were so nice after a long drive, and all the finishing touches around the property made it very welcoming. They spray the lawn, so there were next to no bugs around the property, which was great as we spent most of the time outside. The lake was quiet and peaceful for paddle boarding and kayaking. Our family loved the beach, the kids played all day long there were so many sand toys, and the dogs loved being outdoors, too! The dock is a great spot for morning coffee, and fishing! We had one rainy day but that didn’t bother us because we were able to hang out in the Muskoka room and still enjoy our day. There are a lot of family games, and plenty of space to spread out! There is not a thing I could suggest that would have made our stay better - Five Stars!!
