We had a lovely, lovely time. The house was perfect and the song thrush a delight to hear and lambs a joy to watch. A lovely light, spacious, clean, modern and airy place to stay. The beds were very comfortable and the host very professional and responsive. We ate 2 nights at the Abercamlais Arms pub, a short walk from the property which was reasonably priced and portions were very suitable for 4 hungry hikers. The secure garden and decking area was lovely and ideal for us and our little dog too. There is ample parking and the drive is very steep but you can park at the top if need be. We would definitely visit / stay again if in the area.

Perfectly placed for various walks. Short trip into town for food. House itself has everything you need and all as advertised. Would stay again.

We had a great stay at John's, plenty of room and a great location,can imagine it would be great sat on the decking in the summer with a glass of wine. Washing machine and tumble drier especially useful to have. The drive was steeper than it looked but not a problem if you're reasonably mobile. Visited all 3 pubs during our stay, all lovely. Overall a great stay.
