My wife and I spent 4 nights at The Farmhouse in April and enjoyed every minute. Rob and Neil were perfect hosts. Great comms, easy check in, very responsive to our questions about local walking options and eateries. They live next door but that didn't feel obtrusive in any way - quite the opposite in fact, it was lovely to be able to meet and chat with Rob and Neil. The property is delightful, well equipped and maintained to an excellent standard. Comfortable bed, all the kitchen bits we needed, nice towels(!) etc. etc. We did walks on three days (all great) and spent the other day in the delightful Hay on Wye which is only about half an hour's drive away. Having an EV charger at the property was an extra bonus (reasonable fee for an overnight 7kw charge). Although there were only two of us staying, the house could easily accommodate four people. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a really spacious lounge. We would love to go back.

We have travelled the world for 40 years and stayed in many different places, but The Farmhouse at Hilltops in Brecon was definitely one of the loveliest. The cottage was so charming and well looked after that we immediately felt at home. Should we ever visit South Wales again, The Farmhouse will be our place to stay. Thank you very much to Neil and Rob!

The Farmhouse at Hilltops was a wonderful place for a stay - a lovely old stone built house, beautifully appointed and in an absolutely stunning location and spotlessly clean and looked-after. We would happily have stayed much longer! We enjoyed the town of Brecon, and had a fantastic walk up Pen y Fan in snow and bright sun. Just perfect, thank you.
