Beautiful shepherds hut at the base of Pen y fan. Ideal walkers retreat. Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature, perfect for a relaxing break or exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park and dark skies reserve. 10 minute walk to cwmgwdi car park, one of the most direct routes to Pen y fan. Set in the apple orchard, on a working farm, the hut includes a double bed, wifi, tv and log burner (one bag of wood supplied). Kitchen area with microwave, double hob, fridge with ice box, kettle, toaster and folding table. The bathroom has shower, toilet and sink with a heated towel rail. Outside is a table and chairs with fire pit and gas bbq. Parking is a short distance from the hut.

Location is stunning. In less then 10 minutes you can enter trail for Pen y Fan, one of the highest points in wales. On the other hand it’s still close to the town of brecon (only about a 10 minute drive from town). Surroundings are beautiful from the Airbnb with sheep in the surrounding fields. Lodging is small but clean with a surprisingly nice shower. Only issue is getting to the place as the address listed is incorrect. One should instead search Cwmgwdi in google from the town of brecon.
Lovely clean shepherds hut in a perfect location, 10/10 - would recommend.
Beautiful place for my few nights stay. Perfect location to head out and walk. would definitely come back.
