Thank you so much to Sheila, Brandon, and their wonderful family for welcoming us into their warm and loving home. My family and I felt at ease immediately, and we enjoyed our visit immensely. We loved the natural light in the kitchen-dining-living room and the proximity to hiking trails. Nights (and days) were very quiet and mellow. Sheila and Brandon's home is under a magnificent canopy of trees - we wish we were there during peak foliage season! I noticed that my son and daughter gravitated to the outdoor deck to study - the setting was very peaceful and calm. 6 minutes to the Garrison Met-North Station; only 15 minutes to Beacon (had a very nice waterfront lunch), and 20ish minutes to West Point. The AT trailhead (for Anthony's nose) is just a quick dash by car south. Sheila, Brandon, and their kids are fantastic hosts. Sheila was very gracious and was exceptionally responsive and sensitive to our needs. Thank you again!!!

We loved the east access to the AT. The location was perfect for getting back and forth to West Point frequently for graduation. Sheila was amazing with meeting all our needs including a pack n play and high chair for the grand baby. Truly a fun and welcoming home! Especially the kitties that all of our family enjoyed cuddling with during the week. We highly recommend this get away location for the Hudson Highlands!

Great place for a family that is looking to exploring the Hudson Valley or visiting West Point. Lots of space and very easy to communicate with Sheila. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Sheila’s house in October. We came to Garrison for an extended family weekend with our two small kids (ages 3 and 5) and my parents. The space was welcoming and there were plenty of activities to entertain everyone. Our kids especially enjoyed the toys and outdoor space. We enjoyed being close to several nearby towns and activities in the area. I would highly recommend this home.
