The property is right in the centre of Ambleside and perfect for shops and restaurants. The garage is a godsend as Ambleside gets very, very busy. We were given local recommendations including wild swimming spots. I just wish we could have stayed longer!

Superb place right in the middle of Ambleside, close to all the shops, pubs and restaurants. Easy to find, integrated parking was so handy and the space is cosy but roomy with all you need for your stay. Loved it, definitely booking again but direct for sure!

George's place was so beautiful throughout! From the moment we stepped inside, till the moment we left we were stunned with how pretty this cottage is. It is so convenient to have the garage for the car in the dead centre of ambleside. Loved it!

We had a great stay here. The cottage was easy to find, had parking and was in a great location. It was a beautiful place and we’ll certainly be back!
