Really nice place to stay. Very comfortable and at a great location. We had a great time exploring the area.

The cottage had a great location near Ambleside, was clean, well-equipped, warm and very cosy, a nice property overall. It's suitable for a couple or a couple with kids/dog, but in our opinion, too small for 4 adults. The upstairs rooms are very small, the bathroom is particularly tiny, my partner, who is quite tall, struggled to use the bath/shower. Additionally, it was part of a complex of cottages, with shared outside space where the tables and BBQ are located. It's right outside the kitchen and living room windows, so it could be overlooked in summer. However, since we visited the property in March when it was quite cold and no one really used the outside space, we didn’t have that problem. It could be great for family gatherings, when more than one cottage is rented. Taking everything into consideration, we enjoyed our stay and don’t regret booking it!

Lovely place, felt like a home from home, even for our 13 week old baby who fell asleep no problem in her new surroundings. Great location to explore from the door and not far from all amenities but still feeling private.
