We are a family of 4 with elementary and middle-school aged children. We stayed at this incredible property while visiting Joshua Tree NP. Our entire family was extremely excited to arrive, given the photos, and they do NOT disappoint. The home is essentially in the NP (the property abuts it, so the surroundings are exactly the same as if you are in the park). So, you get your own private oasis, with a beautiful swimming pool, built right into the desert. The property is very clean and comfortable and affords almost complete privacy from neighboring properties. We especially loved the garage that has been converted into a pool house - great way to enjoy the pool area while being able to get out of the sun if necessary. Bottom line, this is a wonderful vacation rental in an excellent location. Rental fee is appropriate and host was extremely responsive and accommodating. Book and enjoy - we sure did!

This is an oasis designed to melt away every ounce of stress a person may have, the pool and jacuzzi are phenomenal, the interior of the home immaculate, the hike accessible from the property, downright impressive. We had a blast, thank you for being such a wonderful host!

We loved our stay!!! The house was near Pioneer Town and we were able to drive over for dinner each night. Highly recommend Red Dog Saloon. Pappy & Harriett’s was just ok for us. We paid extra to heat the pool and were able to swim in the morning and evening comfortably. The hot tub was fantastic as were the heated lamps in the main bathroom. Beds were comfy, house was clean and cozy. There were multiple places to chill- in hammocks, by the pool in loungers, sunrise breakfast on the porch. We also hiked up the hill in the backyard and it was really fun with beautiful views. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Midnight Sun House over an early spring break with our kids and small dog and we all had an absolutely magical time. The house is a beautiful and thoughtfully decorated space with an amazing location. The pool was stunning and Cristiane was nice enough to arrange for it to be heated so it was comfortable enough to be in for hours, even for the adults ;) The property has plenty of room to explore and hike. We enjoyed sunsets over the valley and the stars at night. It was an easy drive to the park entrance and the shops/restaurants. Cristiane was welcoming, helpful and very responsive. We kept the dog leashed walking the grounds but somehow she still managed to tread on a cactus (she saw a bunny and went for it). We were cautioned ahead and it was absolutely not a big deal, just a word of warning for others with cute but crazy dogs to stick to the main road/path ;) Writing this from rainy NYC I definitely wish I was back poolside at Midnight Sun :) Thank you!!
