Enjoy a getaway in a vintage 1969 Scotty Sportsman camper. The camper is located at the edge of our field, and the surrounding woods and hills allow for plenty of privacy. Our house is just down the drive should you need anything. The camper features a mini kitchen, bed, dining booth, outdoor seating, and battery powered electricity (enough for lights, a fan, and charging small devices). There is an icebox fridge in the kitchen. A composting toilet is at the edge of the woods. This is a restored vintage camper that we still travel with each summer, but are excited to share her when we're home. We live on 13 acres, have free range chickens, maple syrup production, and multiple fruit, veggie, and herb plots across our land. Guests are welcome in all outdoor spaces and can purchase fresh produce and eggs. The camper is quite cozy and is just large enough for my very tall partner to stand and sleep in.

Great host and a great place to stay for a weekend or even a week or two. Very scenic, quiet, and peaceful.
My partner and I stayed here during our first time attending OU Homecoming Week as alumni. This vintage camper was a unique, affordable, and conveniently located stay for what we needed. We loved the camper’s vintage decor and original interior. The outhouse restroom was clean and all amenities were provided as described. Our host was super friendly and communicative. Our stay was right when summer-like weather turned to fall weather so it did get pretty chilly at night, we did bring a very thick comforter which kept us warm on top of the comforter and thick blanket provided by the host. The fire pit with free wood offered by the host was another great way to stay warm in October! The only thing I would like to make aware to others is this camper’s door does not lock. It’s located in the host’s driveway and is deep in the woods which adds a level of protection, but personally I would have preferred to still be able to lock the door at night when sleeping.
We had a great overnight visit to Alexandria's spot. Very peaceful and relaxing. An excellent spot for watching clouds and stars. The camper is a lot of fun too! Alexandria made us feel right at home. Hoping to be back soon!

Alexandria was wonderful. Helpful, friendly, and generous, she made my camper stay absolutely awesome! I would recommend this property for anyone looking to decompress and enjoy a little privacy... your only company will be the local wildlife!

On a clear night you can nearly see the milky way from our property. There is plenty of privacy from the hills and trees. 50 is easily accessible from our road, no four wheel drive required to get here (but you can sometimes hear the highway in the morning, a trade off for convenience). Lyft will go from Athens to our house.
There is plenty of parking further down our driveway if needed. We are very close to rt 50 (so there is some highway noise in the morning). Lyft does travel from Athens to our house.
Desonier Nature preserve is just over the hill from our house. There is a 2 mile loop trail as well as some new trails being developed.
