Good place and lovely host
It was a delight and privilege to stay at Daniel's historic home in Ararat. There is a lot of love put into the home evidenced by the furnishings, well maintained yard and outbuildings and attention to details including a brief history of the house, its original owner and architect inside the front door. Modern amenities and technology have been skilfully melded with original features. The beds are very comfortable and there is enough space to provide space for all guests. Daniel is a very responsive host and quick to respond to texts. I very much enjoyed my stay and can highly recommend Daniel's house.
Its an awesome treat to stay in such a heritage home that has been very well kept , nothing can beat the experience and the high ceiling and thick walls and wooden doors provides an amazing natural soundproofing system that enabled good undisturbed sleep .One of the two bathrooms has been very modernly fitted with rain shower and heating and ventilating system which keeps the place dry.The Kitchen has also been redone very nicely and has state of the art cooking appliances . In Fact most of the appliances in the home is of high quality .For visitors to Grampians , Ararat is less crowded to use as a base and to then make visits to Halls Gap , Avoca, Promonal etc where there are some lovely vineyard restaurants with some outstanding wines. Glad we chose Dulce Homme for our 4 days visit to Grampians. Thank you Daniel and Myna for availing your lovely home .
Was a fantastic home to stay in during a few days out of the city with friends to bring in the new year. Wonderful historic home with lots of charm and character. The kitchen and bathroom have been renovated and is very modern and practical. Communication was 10/10, very friendly and informative. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking to get away from the city (like us) and bunker down for a few days and take in what Ararat and the surrounding areas have to offer. Thanks.
A beautiful and spacious home, self check in was a breeze, Daniel & Myna were excellent hosts, very accommodating, I would whole heartedly recommend staying with them.
