great place, would stay again. Heat in room above garage was by fireplace but we had a space heater we brought so not a problem. There are 2 lock boxes at check in so that was confusing for my mother, but we got in. Kitchen was well equipped for all the cooking we did. Our group of 6 families all had plenty of space and spread out. View was beautiful also.

The pictures on the website of this home need to be updated because the house didn't look like the pictures. It shows that there is 1 bedroom with a full size bed and a twin, but that is not true. The first night I took a shower in the upstairs bathroom and it leaked onto the bed of the downstairs bedroom. I contacted VACASA immediately and was told they would send it to the local staff. I NEVER heard back from anyone. I called the next day and was told someone would be out that same day. Nobody showed or contacted me. The heat downstairs doesn't work. The dryer doesn't work. The lower oven doesn't close. Pots and pans are old. Patios are not accessible above garage or master bedroom. No light at night to get to hot tub which is across the street basically. Bathroom drain doesn't work down stairs bathroom. Ice machine upstairs and down stairs doesn't work. Very unhappy with our stay as I had to worry about what was going to stop working next the entire weekend.

The Good- great location, the house was big with plenty of room, great covered patio and the tennis court and the hot tub were a plus. We found everything we need in the kitchen and around the house. The view is great and temperature was around 10 degrees lower than Asheville. The town is cozy and you can find everything within couple of miles. The Bad- the house wasn’t ready until around 7PM because it wasn’t cleaned in time and after the late check in we noticed it wasn’t cleaned properly. We found hair in the bathrooms and one of the bedrooms was not cleaned at all from the previous tenants, towels were left dirty on the floor in one of the bedroom bath and we couldn’t use that room. We did not have propane tanks for the fire pit and grill. Vacasa was contacted but replacement was not provided within 24h and decided to replace it ourselves. Refund was offer by them and did send a receipt. Overall we had a great time in the house and recommended.
