The stay at the villa near Castiglione di Sicilia was a great experience. You need a car to get there as you are out in the styx - which is lovely. Be aware you are in the middle of several farms so there is some geese honking, sheep being herded in the next field, and occasionally a cow looking over the fence - the scenery in the hills was lovely and the sunsets were spectacular. There was a minor issue with the voucher form with contact details - the first contact listed was for someone who no longer works for the villa, although she did respond and provide an exact location for the villa which was helpful. Maria, our contact for our stay, couldn't have been more helpful. She offered to pick the first of our party up from Francavilla and drive him to the villa as he arrived separately and was super helpful during our stay. Would recommend this stay for anyone looking for a villa holiday close to attractions such as Taormina (about an hour away).
