Maus Haus exceeded our expectations. It felt like staying in high-end boutique hotel--but with our very own chef's kitchen! It's spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and elegantly decorated. All appliances, fixtures and systems (including the very effective air conditioning) were top-of-the-line, fully functioning, and, best of all, self-explanatory. Each bedrooms has a well-quipped, en suite bathroom, as well as its own tv--and the beds, linens, and towels all felt luxurious. We loved the location, with easy access to downtown, the beach, and the funk zone. We were a little worried that freeway noise might be an issue, but once inside we didn't hear any at all and never even used the white noise machine thoughtfully provided. Connie was gracious in all our communications. She provided very clear instructions on how to access the property and checked in with us via email to see how we were doing. All in all, a great stay. Highly recommend!
