We loved staying in John’s studio. It was cozy and exactly what we were hoping for. Unfortunately we got some intense winds that shut the power off in all of Ned and John was very communicative and more than accommodating. We hope to come back in the future!

I went up for a short weekend trip to just getaway. I enjoyed the peacefulness of the area. I love running on Magnolia Road and this is such a great spot for that.

John’s place was everything as advertised and a quaint little home away from home that we really enjoyed. John had all of the essentials for us to cook a small dinner and relax before we had a concert to attend in Nederland. The short drive from Nederland was easy with manageable road conditions given the storms that came through last week. Would recommend the stay and keep it on our list next time we’re in Nederland.

John went out of his way to help with issues of getting out due to impassable road conditions. His help made it much easier despite the snow storm. My daughters and I really appreciated his help. Many thanks go out to him with making a difficult situation easier to deal with! Great experience all around!
