The place was perfect for us and the other four guests. If you’re looking for a place for 8 people it would work. For the 6 of us (and a 1yr old) it was spacious. A lot of the reviews say that this place is hidden far away from a lot of things. It made me nervous so I brought way too much food. Calmed my nerves to know that there was a Dollar General only 10 minutes away. Note, I am a mom of a one-year-old. For kids, they do have to be watched in the living room due to the step down living room, and the fireplace. The kitchen has everything you’ll need. Baking pans, muffin, tins, and pots and pans that are in GREAT shape. The creek is a loud peaceful one. Was nice to sit out on the porch and just listen to the creek while drinking coffee. Two coffee options K-cups and regular drip. Host was very communicative. If you have any problems, let them know and they’ll take care of it right away. They even offered a extra night! So nice! We would go again 100/100 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely beautiful, private and peaceful residence. It was a bit more off the beaten path than we expected but was easy to access (we did not have 4 wheel drive) and we appreciated the nature and privacy. We cooked most of our meals here and had almost all of what we needed dish and utensil wise. Residence has lots of stairs but was all around kid friendly (with supervision) and they loved the campfire and creek (yes, there was trout!). Firewood was easy and inexpensive to purchase in nearby Cleveland. Very central location to hiking and wineries. Would definitely come back.
