This location was absolutely perfect. The woodsy environment was perfect, saw deer as we were coming and going to the location. Very close to the North Georgia Zoo, which we took full advantage of. The location was not too far from areas we wanted to visit. Beautiful location. The kitchen was well stocked for items we needed for Christmas dinner and the bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Everything worked as expected. We visited the Dukes Creek Falls and Helen Ga. And there were a vast number of breweries, distilleries and wineries in the area. We had also done some antique shopping near Cleveland and found a good number of locations for doing that. We visited the NoFo Brewery for trivia night, which was a great experience. Did the Montaluce Winery for Christmas Eve dinner, and it was an experience to say the least. And for our last night we did the Big Creek Distillery for their New Years party. Thank you for a wonderful experience at your cabin in the woods.

We have stayed at this place multiple times now and call it our home away from home whenever we come up to the area. They were incredibly accommodating when something came up last minute for us during our wedding weekend and we were able to check in very last minute. This place is always very homie and we love staying here!

I was disappointed that the cottage did not live up to expectations, based on photos and reviews from past guests. Everyone raved about how clean the place was. Granted the weather had been rainy and nasty and the cottage is in the woods, but when we arrived and walked in, there was a bad musty, damp feeling and funky odor. There were plug ins in every room trying to mask it. You could tell the cottage was renovated, but very poorly. Moisture definitely seeping in. The beds were uncomfortable. There was one bath towel per person and after the first use, it smelled pretty bad. ( the type of smell you get when they sit in a washing machine for too long) I was definitely disappointed because the photos showed the place to be so very cute. The decor was very nice but unfortunately the negatives outweigh that.

Alison was a great host. The house was in a great location, close to Helen and Dahlonega. We would stay here again.
