Let the calming sounds of the waterfalls and creeks melt away your worries in this spacious and serene mountain setting! Make memories at our family's secluded cabin located at the intersection of the Chattahoochee National Forest, Fort Mountain State Park, and the Cohutta Wilderness. The cabin sits on over 20 acres of land ready to be explored with multiple waterfalls and a creek that flows throughout the property and a crystal clear swimming hole just a short hike down from the cabin! The cabin is peaceful and luxurious. The main entrance to the cabin does offer a no-step option with a ramp from the driveway. (Please note the driveway and ramp are still at a decent incline.) A smart lock is on the front door for convenient, contactless check-in. The spacious bedrooms, located on 3 different levels for added privacy, can accommodate up to 12 adults. The cabin has 2 bedrooms with King beds and 2 with Queen beds in addition to smaller beds for any children or single adults. The main living area is great for entertainment and flows into the dining area and kitchen for a very open concept. You can also cozy up by the gas fireplace with a good book or conversation. If your family is at all competitive, we have plenty of games from cards to board games, pool table, foosball and darts! Whether it is hiking, swimming, exploring, or relaxing on the back deck overlooking and listening to the sounds of the creek, this cabin is your getaway spot!

Exactly as described. Remote is an understatement but surprisingly, you’re not far from town. The road is not something to take lightly. We had three F150 trucks loaded down with family members and we never went over 10 miles an hour going in or out of the property. It was beautiful, breathtaking, relaxing, clean and well stocked. But if you don’t want remote, this is not your place. We never saw a living soul until we went into town, which was exactly as we wanted it. After we checked in the host was very responsive to any question we asked, although we did try to limit our questions. A couple of things to note your luggage will need to be carried up a flight of rock stairs. Keep that in mind when packing. my husband ruined a piece of luggage, thinking he could pull it up the stairs. Property was well stocked. If you’re not used to working a gas stove or oven, please be prepared because it takes a while to preheat. Just have fun!
We had a great time
We absolutely loved staying here. It looked just like the pictures and was clean and organized. The labels on where things belong helped us put things back as well as know where to find what we needed. The water fall was the perfect setting for my daughter’s boyfriend to propose to her. We will cherish this visit forever and can’t wait to book again! Fair warning to anyone that books. The host communicated upfront about the need of AWD vehicles. I am so glad they did! We made it to the road in just at dusk. I highly recommend you plan to arrive before dusk if you are not experienced with remote mountain terrain. It is truly off road and can be a bit intimidating….but we made it without incident!

The cabin resides in a small, friendly community along a rural, mountain road in beautiful North Georgia.
The cabin location requires a drive of 3 miles on a recently re-graveled, mountainous road. The owners and service technicians drive 2WD vehicles routinely on road, but guests who do not travel on gravel, mountain roads regularly are often more comfortable with 4WD or AWD vehicles.
Another important note is that shooting firearms on the property is not allowed. While the cabin is tucked away in 31 acres of mountainous landscape, there are permanent residents/other guests, as well as propane tanks, trails, etc. within the proximity. It is a safety measure for our guests.
