We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the open concept of the kitchen, dining room and living room. The beach is a nice walk away and we were lucky enough to see deer every day. The home was clean, well equipped and comfortable. We traditionally stay a little further in on the Michigan side, but loved exploring a new area. Highly recommend Dune Billies for brunch and Burn'Em Brewery. Michigan City farmers market is small, but a fun thing to do on a Saturday morning. Book now :).

Ryan's place is a gem! Close to the lake, tennis courts, and golf course. The neighborhood is top-notch, and the renovated house feels brand new. Highly recommend!!

A lovely secluded home in the woods, 211 Pokagon provides easy access to Lake Michigan in both northern Indiana and southwest Michigan. The kitchen came with all the at-home amenities (crock pot, air fryer, blender, etc.) that make it feel livable. It was perfect for a family of four, and our host was very flexible about letting us back in post check-out when we left one important item behind. I never figured out how to access the host's digital welcome packet (that *could* be user error but it feels more like an Airbnb issue). Having it would have come in handy when searching for restaurants outside of the norm. Yet we had also researched activities ahead of time, so we were never dependent on the welcome packet to make our stay enjoyable. The foldable wagon, beach chairs, and sand toys helped make our trips to the beach a little easier; a house beach tote for the towels would have been a nice touch. Overall, a well-kept rental with plenty to do within modest drives. Recommended!
