The host Vee was friendly and responsive with any inquiries. We did not realize nor was it disclosed that the property was right near train tracks that were quite loud and woke me several times a night when the train came through and held down the horn. If used to city noises, not a big deal but otherwise the main bedroom upstairs was close to the side of the tracks. We also didn't realize that N Charleston has a very high crime rate even though the complex seemed ok while we were there. The king size mattress upstairs is not on a solid support platform and my husband thought the bed broke when he turned over since it made a loud noise, but he was able to reinforce it once he evened out the slats. There are no toilet paper holders in the bathrooms so the paper is literally behind you on the toilet cover - not comfortable to access if one has back issues. We also booked the property mainly because it listed a pool, but it was not open the first week of April when we booked.

This was a great home away from home. The space accommodated my large family well and the amenities made the stay very comfortable. We were very happy with our stay.
