Such a beautiful cottage, elegantly and tastefully furnished. Lovely paintings and pottery everywhere, bed linen is exquisite. The kitchen had everything you needed, the whole house felt very loved. The log burner in the lounge is very cosy. As others described, ceilings are very low! Steep staircase which was just about ok for our 80 year old parents, and the walk in shower (newly done, lovely decor and of great quality) downstairs was good for them to use. My daughter loved the top twin room which is like a little flat in itself! Very central for all the nice restaurants. Would thoroughly recommend the Mousetrap Inn and The Rose Tree restaurant for food, as well as the motor museum which we loved. Very easy drive to do a park and ride day out in Oxford which was wonderful. One downside - parking is quite hard to find if you don't manage to get outside the cottage. But overall a WONDERFUL stay, thank you.

A beautiful cottage with everything you need for your stay. Lots of additional small touches such as books and magazines, well stocked kitchen and comfortable touches like throw rugs and comfortable linen and bedding. Location is excellent, close to everything in the village. Loved our stay at Pear Tree Cottage.

The house was clean and tidy and in a fantastic location, close to the shops and restaurants. The cottage felt like home from home as extremely well equipped. We looked forward to going to bed each evening as the beds were extremely comfy with beautiful linen. We managed to park outside the property but parking is limited if you have more than one car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pear tree Cottage and would happily return. Only words of advice are if you are a taller guest you may struggle as the beams and door frames are very low in places.
