Really loved this beautiful and peaceful place, can absolutely recommend to go there to enjoy the beauty of winter. It’s a comfortable and marvelous shack we’ve been to with our three kids. They offered us a wagon and a sled for hiking and exploring the trails. The view from the breakfast table is spectacular and we would immediately go back. It’s very close to the Killarney visitor center and it’s exciting trails. Carolyn and Daryl are the best hosts we ever had and super friendly and helpful, thank you for sharing this gem with guests.

We had a wonderful stay at Carolyn’s “shack” during the Christmas holidays. While it’s described as a “shack” it’s a lot more — a very comfortable and rustic cottage where we felt like we were right at home and with all the comforts necessary. We enjoyed the peace of Killarney’s surroundings, the beautiful views and to comfortable cottage and recently added swim spa! After a day of exploring and a campfire, the swim spa was a perfect way to end the day. You won’t find a better or more comfortable cottage from which to base your Killarney holiday. And, Carolyn and Darryl were wonderful hosts. We look forward to coming back!

This was my partner and I’s second time staying here. We absolutely loved it! I recommend this place who appreciates the peace and quiet of the outdoors and loves a good hike with the provincial park being so close. Kerry is incredibly accommodating and keeps it so clean. We look forward to coming back.

Loved this place! Wish I could stay longer. Gorgeous views from inside and out, really cool rocky landscape around the house, in a very quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Killarney is a hidden gem and this is the perfect place to base yourself from! Would highly recommend and hope to return!
