John's place is still the best in Bishop and it is always a joy to stay there. The cottage is private, serene and beautifully decorated. Excellent shower, always easy to sleep in, and walkable to town if you want to ditch your car. Can't recommend this place more highly, it is consistently great over multiple stays.

The sunshine cottage was a great place to stay. It is warm, cozy and beautifully designed and decorated. I especially loved the bathroom tile. The kitchen is well-equipped for all cooking needs. We were so happy to return to this wonderful home after a long day spent fishing in the nearby Lower Owens. We were able to leave our fishing gear behind the cottage on the back deck, which was a surprise bonus. John and Tara are responsive and easy to communicate with, and we hope to be able to stay again on a return visit.

We had an amazing time staying at John and Tara’s beautiful space in Bishop. The home surpassed our expectations, and was even more stunning than the photos. Every detail of this space was well thought out and intentional. We felt at home right away, and appreciated all the thoughtful touches. It felt brand new, and was impeccably clean. We will definitely return on our next trip to the Eastern Sierras. John was super friendly and gave us some great local recommendations for coffee and pastries.
