Many things went wrong. Our previous good reviews didn’t help Kukun improve check-in or cleaning issues. 1) check-in was late and unfriendly. The usher Karla kept giving us wrong ETAs, while we were waiting with two small children late at night. 2) Karla blamed everything to her boss Patricia. “Her boss didn’t give her our ETA.” But we kept them posted about our status since we landed at the airport. 3) Rooms not clean. We experienced cleaning issues with Kukun previously. So we asked for a double-check. But of course, Karla “wasn’t informed about it.” The floor was sticky in every room. 4) We found out Kukun didn’t provide proper cleaning tools. As a high-end rental company, it’s shocking that they don’t have vacuum or mops for housekeeping. 5) The moment we reported the issues, Kukun wanted to switch chats from Airbnb to Whats*pp. They requested for our number, and promised to have managers call but they never did during our 13-night stay.

We recently had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful Airbnb in Mexico City’s Roma neighborhood and it was an absolute delight! The location is unbeatable – nestled in a vibrant yet surprisingly quiet area, making it perfect for both relaxation and exploration. The neighborhood is incredibly walkable, brimming with an array of exciting things to do. Whether it’s exploring local markets, enjoying the eclectic mix of restaurants, or just soaking in the unique atmosphere, there’s never a dull moment. Safety was never a concern for us; we felt secure wandering around both day and night. In summary, we highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the true spirit of Mexico City. It’s an ideal base for both first-time visitors and seasoned travelers. Can’t wait to return!
