A rough and ready, creatively rustic and unusual accommodation with the most spectacular view of the bay and surrounding forests, with birdsong during the day and a log fire at night. A cosy escape during heavy rain. Pia is a warm and welcoming host, always helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in Pia’s Dome, one night in her hosteria and getting to experience life like no other in Melimoyu. Amazing!

Our stay at the dome was amazing. We wish we could have stayed longer. It was like a dream. Pia was super helpful and a really inspiring woman. If you have the chance to go here, DEFINITELY DO! It’s worth the detour from the Carretera austral.

Es ist definitiv eine einzigartige Location / Unterkunft, mit tollem Blick und Atmosphäre. Allerdings ist die An-/Abreise etwas tricky und man muss vorplanen. Die Gastgeberin Pia ist super und wer die Chance hat, sollte sie nutzen ein paar Tage diesen Ort zu besuchen! :)

Cómo describir la increíble experiencia en el Domo de Pía? Solos en el medio de la selva, naturaleza extrema, un paisaje soñado, con una vista al mar y las montañas increíble y todas las comodidades. Cama cómoda, la cocina a leña para calentar el domo (hay otra a gas), pero por sobre todas las cosas la naturaleza, hacer trecking por bosques de arrayanes gigantes, navegar el por el Seno de Gala entre delfines, el sonido de las ranas en la noche... Es cierto que hubo problemas con el agua caliente pero Pía siempre intentó solucionarlo. Pasar cinco días en ese rincón del mundo, alejados de todo fue una de las cosas más lindas que vivimos en nuestro viaje por la Patagonia chilena.
