We had a wonderful week staying in Magda’s beautiful villa. She couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome and was always on hand to help us out. The villa was well equipped with everything we needed and the location was stunning. We would definitely recommend!

Séjour incroyable dans la maison de Magda qui nous a accueillis comme sa famille! Toujours disponible et arrangeante Magda a su nous conseiller des restaurants, des visites et a été très attentive et gentille avec nos enfants. La maison est grande et spacieuse avec tous les équipements nécessaires pour passer un bon séjour. Nous nous souviendrons longtemps des couchers de soleils magnifiques et de la vue sur la mer depuis la maison! Note pour les familles: la piscine n’était pas sécurisée durant notre séjour, être très vigilant avec les enfants!

We were 2 families of 4 staying at the villa in August 2023. On arrival Magda was there to greet us (she lives in the next villa) and kindly showed us round the property. A short walk takes you to the main road. Taking a left takes you to a small quiet beach, great for a morning dip, you can hire paddle boards for €20 hr, no taverna though. The right turn takes you into town where the tavernas are and 1 supermarket. We tried most of them and didn’t have a fav though we visited the one by the square the most. The bakery in town opens at 7.30am and does filled baguettes for €3, the fresh bread is lovely and loads of choice, seeded etc, doughnuts and pain au chocolate yummy too. The beach at Poseidonia is lovely and sandy. Lounger/umbrella hire is expensive, beach is quiet from 10am, but gets busier from 1.30pm onwards. De la Gracia taverna serves up lovely and reasonable food, we ate here lunchtime and evenings, staff are very attentive. Loved the winding alleys of Ano Syros.

Stylish house with wonderful swimming pool and roomy interior, in a beautiful hilltop position outside Finikias. Good AC in each room, many different terraces and a lovely kitchen area down by the pool. The local town and beach is a steep but walkable 5 mins away, with plenty of tavernas and a well stocked supermarket. Magda and her partner live next-door and are very kind and proactive and always on hand to help with any issues or questions. They went above and beyond to help with baby equipment during our stay. Cycladic Aura, was by far, the most amazing and beautiful house we have ever stayed in. The house location is fantastic. Breathtaking views from all different outdoor spaces, spacious and lovely decorated rooms and a lovely beaches just few mins walk down. Outdoor pool area was lovely and private and we made a great use out of it as well. Finikas, local town, has everything that you need from supermarket, bakery, pharmacy and a good selection of restaurants and bars. Syros itself has its own charm and we discovered it bit by bit from town to town. And then there is the host - Magda. The nicest and loveliest host we ever had. Magda gave us plenty of recomendations what to see and where to eat and she was always there to help if we needed anything. Without any hesitations, we can recommend Magda and her house for holiday stay and everybody from our group of 6 clearly agreed that we will be back !
