John is the perfect host. The annex is a lovely property, well situated in quiet woodland. It is well equipped and maintained to a very high standard. Johns flexibility helped us massively during our extended stay at his property and this was very much appreciated.

We really enjoyed staying here. John was an engaging and very friendly host. The accommodation was in a beautiful setting. It had excellent facilities and a very attractive interior. It was great!

A+++ space, modern, relaxing and airy! Great space to get away for a weekend, with all the conveniences. Very much appreciated John's friendly greeting and all the small extra touches, milk, bread, etc. Highly recommended!

What a fab annex in John's huge garden! You relax here. Lots of wildlife to share it with, a couple of foxes, bunnies, several great spotted woodpeckers, one green one, the usual squirrels, a pair of red kites and a cockerel. I enjoyed the very early mornings to do yoga on the lawn! So dark and quiet there. The inside is exactly like the pictures. Large airy rooms with french doors, a well equipped kitchen, John had put bread and milk for us, and there was some marmalade, tea, coffee, cereals. Although its advertised as a one bedroom, there is another small room built into the bedroom. There's a single day bed which has a pull out bed from the bottom. There's a small wardrobe and french doors. The bathroom is through the main bedroom. Two little points. The turning off the main road is easy to miss so be careful, and it is quite a way down a pretty bumpy road, and a long driveway. There's a hundred yard walk to the annexe to carry luggage. We couldnt regulate the shower temp.
