We absolutely loved our stay at Wanderwood! This was such a perfect experience and get away for our group of five for a girls weekend. The location was just gorgeous and the house was impeccably furnished and clean. The farm house has been wonderfully resorted and updated. You could tell that every detail was considered from the paint color to wall hangings to the beautiful linens. I can’t say enough about how comfortable Matt and Kelsey made us feel. Check in was super easy and they responded in less than an hour to all questions and requests. The kitchen is well equipped and there were all the extra accessories from dish washing detergent to herbs, salt, pepper, sugar and coffee. Wow. This is really so rare in an airbnb. The beds were comfortable and each room lovingly detailed. The bathrooms were great and immaculate. It really felt like we were pampering ourselves. We were so happy we’re thinking this may be a yearly getaway for us. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!

My friends and I stayed at Wanderwood for my friend’s wedding, and we had such a good time! The house had plenty of room for all 9 of us to spread out and hang out. The amenities are all updated but the house still retains the farmhouse charm that made us all wish we lived on a farm year-round. The wifi was very good even with so many of us on it. The bedrooms were good sizes for bringing in a bunch of luggage and still having room to walk around. The beds were comfy, and the bathrooms were all very clean and modern in the best ways. Matt was very responsive and even came over to check on us when we accidentally set a fire alarm off with a portable steamer😅 We would totally stay here again for the vibes because it was such a good private place!

Loved the farmhouse! We had a beautiful weekend stay during Damariscotta pumpkin fest. the house is beautifully decorated, offers a ton of space, and the property is amazing , esp with the pond access. and the porches! the location is fantastic with easy access to everything in mid-coast. We would highly recommend - we will be back again soon!

Wonderful location for a family gathering! My high point was peaceful mornings with a great cup of Wicked Joe breakfast blend sitting on the great porch and listening to nature! Matthew and Kelsey were terrific hosts and we all can’t wait to visit again!

Our Wanderwood farmhouse was very clean, comfortable, and managed with care so that guests are ensured a special stay. Some of our favorite things: Living in a farmhouse in Maine! Morning coffee rocking on front covered porch. Turkeys strutted by in native wildflower meadows. Lounging on covered back porch. Created a “Silverman Scramble” and “Wanderwood salad” from organic eggs and vegetables with kitchen view of garlic being harvested and later artistically hung to dry. Helped control horn worms that harm tomato/pepper crops the organic way! Used a black light, the worms glow at night, and are fed to the chickens! Wandered trail through farm, boardwalks over wetlands, forest, to the Lake. Peacefully paddled kayaks around lake where fisherman pointed to Eagle watching us. Later while swimming, a spectator Loon emerged within ten feet; sang to us at night. Half hour ish drive loved: Hardy Boat Puffin tour, Pemaquid Lighthouse, and delicious seafood! Truly a Treasured trip!
