This is a great place to stay if you need to visit Alloa or the surrounding area. The host was very responsive and accommodating and the apartment was spotless. It is a great space and the bed was also very comfortable. Would recommend.

You need to read the location carefully, it is described well but not easy to find. The house was spotlessly clean and had lots of useful amenities. Good communication with the owner. However we very much struggled with the lock to the apartment, and the front door was often left unlocked. Having said that the owner is having a locksmith look at the lock, and there’s a big sign asking all residents to keep the front door locked. Bed was comfortable, location was good. Unfortunately the description of a walk-in shower was incorrect. The shower is a very low hung hose over the bath, under a slanting roof, making it impossible to stand under the shower. Certainly not suitable for those unable to sit in a bath. There is some road noise but it didn’t disturb us with the windows shut.
