This unique 6-bedroom lakefront home comes fully-stocked with all the updated amenities. Experience an amazing place for friend/family gatherings. This lakefront log home is a spectacular place for a getaway. 6 bedrooms with 9 oversized beds allow for large groups. Just steps from the shore of Myles Bay in Lake Huron there are an abundance of 4-season activities. Located in the heart of the Bruce Peninsula, Wishbone Retreat is close to all of the attractions between Owen Sound and Tobermory. Private, peaceful and easily accessible. Colin and Kim are your hosts and invite you to come and enjoy the experience of this magnificent home and surroundings.

Colin and Kim's place was great, lots of privacy and lots of space. Its in a great location with lots of things to do within a short distance. Colin was extremely hospitable. Looking forward to an opportunity to return in the future....

This was our first time booking with AirBNB and from booking to departure, we were extremely pleased!! Colin was friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and prompt in his communication before our arrival. We were quite impressed with the warmth and immaculate state of the home upon arrival. During our stay, he reminded us to ask if we needed anything and checked in with us a couple of times to make sure we were all doing well. Kim even offered to take our family photo!! Nestled on the beautiful shores of Lake Huron, their log home is exquisite, cosy and comfortable, with lots of room for our four families and our two pups!! Everyone loved their time at WISHBONE RETREAT!! Since Colin and his family made it such a delightful experience, we are all hoping we can visit again!! Thank you, Colin and family, for sharing your beautiful home with our family!!

What a beautiful location with the most incredible sunsets. Pictures and descriptions are accurate. Colin and Kim are kind and welcoming hosts. Colin responds quickly to messages and is solution oriented. Wishbone Retreat is a hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A visit that I’ll remember for a long time. „No Wifi, talk to each other, pretend it’s 1995“ is a great sign hanging in the cottage. Son enjoyed a WiFi-free week exploring and trying new things. (Saying this, WiFi is good. My brother was able to attend an online Zoom course without any issues).

We had a wonderful stay at wishbone retreat. The cottage was perfect and the views were spectacular! Colin is a great host and is very friendly and welcoming. Our stay was perfectly relaxing with lots of space for the whole family! We can’t wait to visit again!

Wishbone Retreat overlooks Myles Bay to the west. We are a short walk to Sandy Beach and Black Creek Provincial park.
The village of Lions Head is a short drive with all of the amenities including groceries, LLBO, hardware, bank, gift shops and restaurants.
There is also a hospital, Chiropractor, and a dentist in Lions Head as well.

There is ample parking in the driveway for multiple vehicles. Very private.
The streets are quiet and perfect for a morning walk or bike ride.
