The Golden Pines Cottage is an exquisite waterfront property that offers a luxurious and executive vacation experience. The warmer waters of Lake Huron make swimming and other water activities perfect at this cottage - but bring your water shoes, as the shoreline is rocky! The large lot has a gorgeous firepit where you can chill out in the evenings and view the famous Bruce Peninsula's dark skies! Relax on the waterside deck and listen to the chill sounds of the shoreline. The Golden Pines has 3 floors of living space- room enough for the whole family to relax! The ground level boasts a huge recreational room. This spacious area is equipped with a large-screen TV, perfect for movie nights or catching up on your favorite shows. The gas fireplace adds a touch of warmth and ambiance, creating a cozy atmosphere during colder months. For those who love games and entertainment, you'll find a foosball table and a collection of board games to keep you entertained for hours. If you prefer to dive into a good book, we've got you covered too! Our bookworms will be delighted to find a selection of books to choose from. Need a quick snack or a refreshing drink? The kitchenette in this space has everything you need. It features a convenient sink and a refrigerator with a freezer, allowing you to store and prepare your favorite treats without having to leave the room. The ground level also offers two comfortable bedrooms. One bedroom features a queen bed and a single bed, perfect for families or friends traveling together. The other bedroom boasts a queen bed and French doors that lead out to the stunning waterfront area. The main level - which is up a flight of stairs, has an open-concept living/dining/kitchen. There is a vaulted ceiling and large windows, allowing an abundance of natural light to flood the interior, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Leather reclining couches and a chair provide guests with the utmost comfort and style. The dining room table is large enough for the whole family, with a second table available for more seating. The kitchen offers stunning views while providing ample space for culinary endeavors. Equipped with a large fridge and gas stove, this kitchen is designed to meet the needs of any aspiring chef. There is an expansive kitchen island, offering plenty of countertop space for meal preparation and casual dining. A drip coffee maker and a Keurig are available. The kitchen has tons of amenities available to guests. The master bedroom is located on the main level and features a private deck, a huge walk-in closet, and a 3 piece ensuite with a tub and shower. For your comfort, we provide a portable AC unit to chill down your evenings. The 3 level - the "loft" is perfect for relaxation, offering a comfortable area to unwind and enjoy the breathtaking views. Need to catch up on work? No worries, we've got you covered with a desk and chair. On the same level, you'll find two spacious bedrooms. One is furnished with two queen beds, while the other offers two double beds, ensuring plenty of room for a peaceful night's sleep. To keep you cool and comfortable, we've also provided portable air conditioning units in the 2 loft bedrooms. Please be aware - the cottage does not have central Air. As it is a traditional style log home, having central air is not possible. Outdoors, the large executive lot provides guests with ample space to play and relax. Gather around, roast marshmallows, and create lasting memories with our water-view firepit. Chill with a book or simply soak up the serene atmosphere at our lakeside "chill deck". The inviting waters of Lake Huron beckon, tempting you to take a refreshing swim and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. Water shoes are recommended, as the shoreline, like most of the area, is rocky. We provide guests with a water cooler with 1 jug of water on arrival. Also - the refrigerator has cold filtered water. Our tap water is potable but can have a slight 'natural" taste as it is well water. Duvets with covers and pillows are provided. Guests must bring their sheets and towels. Sheets & towels are available for $35/bed - please ask in advance. Please note that the Air Conditioning is only available in the main level and loft bedrooms ONLY. It is not central Air Conditioning. These are portable air conditioning units. The cleaning fee can be waived if guests agree to leave the cottage as clean as they found it. Please ask us in advance. We rent weekly only in Summer - Sunday to Sunday. Pets are welcome with restrictions. No more than 2 pets. We allow a maximum of 8 adults. Occupancy of 12 include children (2 must be under 12) Guests must read and approve our rules and regulations which we provide after you book the cottage. You will have 24 hours to cancel your reservation without charges or fees if you do not approve of our rules and regulations. This cottage is licensed by the Municipality of North Bruce Peninsula! NBP-2021-460. As a guest of our region, you need to abide by all rules and regulations provided by the local municipality. We have a local and responsible property manager at your disposal 24/7.
