Loved our Easter stay at Lucy's barn. Little treats for the dogs and our little boy made it even better. Perfect location for our needs and Lucy recommended some great places to visit and eat. if your looking for a homely stay with everything you need to be comfortable we recommend the little Red Barn and will hopefully stay again at some point. Thanks Lucy we had a great holiday.

We stayed at Lucy’s gorgeous barn over New Year and had such a lovely time. The barn is so cozy and welcoming, looks even better than the photos. Everything was sparkling clean, a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and fast wifi. Lucy was a perfect host, she offered us an early check in which was very much appreciated, provided excellent recommendations and even left us a bottle of Prosecco (which we drank at midnight) and dog treats for our pooches which was so sweet. Check in was super easy, the barn was easy to find, the location was lovely and peaceful. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a base to explore the Lake District.

We stayed at Lucy’s place for a relaxed weekend with the dog and loved every second! The surroundings are beautiful, lovely walks and a short drive from the main town and other attractions. Lucy’s place was very homely and really cosy, plus she left great recommendations for local sights, restaurants and things to do. I would absolutely recommend Lucy’s place, she is a fantastic host and we couldn’t have asked for more.
