A peaceful and comfortable base from where you can explore all that Nieu-Bethesda has to offer. The house has two bedrooms that can sleep a maximum of five people. There is an additional outside unit with a double and single bed with en suite bathroom which is available on request at additional cost. In the main cottage there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a single and a double bed. Bathroom, open plan kitchen and living room with a sunny veranda.

A welcome overnight stop en-route from Cape Town to Port St John's. Nieuw Bethesda is a jewel in the Eastern Cape and Jacob's place was comfortable, homely and well-priced. I only wish we could have stayed longer.
If you want to walk around but have peace and quiet during your stay, this is a very nice option. Lots of books and games to play for the family and even little kids, a big garden and a lovely verandah, makes it a nice place to relax and enjoy Nieu Bethesda. It is right around the corner from the owl house, the fossil centre and many restaurants.
Comfortable, easy to walk everywhere and peaceful.
Great value for money, had a peaceful stay and enjoyed seeing New Bethesda for tge first time. Thank you
